Landmarks

Market Day is in a building you might not have been to before, but don’t worry, there are lots of local landmarks to help you find your way.

We are next to Art 316. We are across the street from the Whiteline Lofts (we’re on the south side of MLK, they’re on the north). We are cater-corner from the Science Center of Iowa. And best of all, May-October we are just shy of two blocks south of the start of the Downtown Farmers’ Market at 5th and Court. You’re looking for a five-story high brick warehouse building with a big sign for Market Day as well as our in-building neighbors at J.G.’s Old Furniture Systems.

Parking

There are a lot of opportunities for parking at Market Day. We recommend approaching downtown via MLK. Turn off at 7th or 5th and you’ll be able to find parking on many streets, some small lots next to many buildings, and in the downtown parking garages. Many people already park near our location to attend the Farmers’ Market.
